Homes in Jamaica for the people who keep it working
Blue Mahoe Capital funds housing developments across the Caribbean, starting in Jamaica. Our team identifies developers we trust, and puts capital behind them.
The first is 600 two-bedroom homes in Yallahs, St Thomas, designed for first-time buyers and NHT contributors, and open to any buyer. Site clearing has begun.

Where we’re building
Blue Mahoe Capital is not a developer. We don’t build houses.
We find developers with land, a track record and a project that stands up, and we fund them, then stay involved through delivery.
Housing is the first thing we’re putting capital behind at this scale, and it won’t be the last. Jamaica is where we’ve started, not where we intend to stop.
Four locations are in progress now.
Yallahs, St Thomas
Approximately 600 two-bedroom homes across six phases, one hundred in each, on a 188-acre site. Blue Mahoe Capital has agreed to acquire the first 25 acres and is funding the first phase alongside East Rock Construction, with first rights of refusal on the phases that follow. Roads and drainage come first, then water and sewage. Site clearing has begun.
Why Yallahs. Access was always St Thomas’s constraint. For years the parish sat far enough from a Kingston job that very little got built there. That has changed. The Southern Coastal Highway between Harbour View and Yallahs Bridge is open, part of a corridor running through to Port Antonio. Yallahs is now a commute, not a relocation.
At the highway’s opening, the Prime Minister said the area would see a surge of housing development and become, in effect, a new suburb of Kingston.
We looked at Yallahs for three reasons: how close it sits to Kingston, the road work already finished, and an existing NHT development directly across from the property. The people this is built for can already be found living opposite the gate.
